Prof. Edmond Cohen
Dr. Edmond Cohen is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Thoracic Surgery and is the Director of Thoracic Anesthesia at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Over the last 35 years at Mount Sinai, he gains his reputation as a renowned educator, scholar and a world-renowned leader that lectured throughout the world on topics related to Thoracic Anesthesia. He led Thoracic Anesthesia workshops and panels in national and international meetings and published extensively on a range of topics in cardiothoracic anesthesia. For the last 20 years, he delivered the Thoracic Refresher Course lectures at the ASA meeting. Dr. Cohen chair the PGA Thoracic Symposium, a day and a half program entirely dedicated to thoracic topics and workshops. He is the editor of several books and most recently, the Editor of the “Cohen’s Comprehensive Thoracic Anesthesia” which was published in December of 2021.
