Dr. Ken Solt

Ken Solt, MD is Associate Professor of Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School, and Director of Translational Research and Innovation in the Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has conducted research in anesthetic mechanisms for over 20 years, and currently directs a translational research program that investigate show subcortical neural circuit sare involved in anesthetic-induced unconsciousness and recovery from general anesthesia. In addition to active research funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), Dr. Solt has received the NIH Director’s Transformative Research Award and the James S. McDonnell Foundation Scholar Award
